The new indicator may appear in chats with businesses that created ads on Facebook and Instagram, particularly when the Click-To-WhatsApp button is present. It may also appear in other situations, such as when users provide feedback or interact with offers, but this is yet to be confirmed.

When a business chat shares limited information with Meta, WhatsApp will notify users that Meta might receive some data. However, interacting with these businesses is always optional.

It is important to note that this indicator does not imply that Meta can read the shared messages in the conversation. Messages in chats with small and medium-sized businesses are still end-to-end encrypted, ensuring privacy.
